We booked the elegant room & made the hotel aware of our preference to stay in the pink room, which is exactly what we got and it was perfect! Stunning view overlooking the caldera from our balcony. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning in an adorable basket. The hotel and pool area are very well maintained and staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in the quieter town of Imerovigli which is about a (beautiful) 15 min walk from the main town of Fira. It is also very conveniently located near a bus stop making it very easy to travel around the island. Would highly recommend to anyone. Excellent value for money & beautifully located! All recommendations and tips turned out to be worth the money. Good and rich breakfast, clean and charming room (Master Cave Suite). The location is good(close to the road in front) but if you are looking for some peaceful time the walking path right in front of your room(in-between your view of the ocean) made privacy next to impossible. The splash pool is right on the walking path where everyone walks by. It is a splash pool and not a hot tub is what we found out once we were there. Water was luke warm so hard to use in evenings when the temp went down. We asked daily for the heat to be turned up but never got it warm enough to spend any time in it. They kind of ignored our request and we asked almost everyday. Too bad because that was one of the reasons we picked the hotel and the king room. Hard to pay their price if you don't have privacy or can't use the splash pool. View was great though and service was above average for sure. | 5 |
